Roll AI ("we", "us", "our") is a BJJ training log and AI video analysis app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect your email address. If you sign in with Apple, we receive a name and an anonymised relay email from Apple.
Profile information
Information you voluntarily enter in the app: belt rank, stripes, training frequency, gym name, weight, height, date of birth, training style preferences, and goals.
Training data
Roll logs you create: date, duration, notes, energy levels, techniques, outcomes, and journal entries. This data is stored on your account and never shared with third parties.
Video clips
When you use the AI video analysis feature, your video clip is transmitted securely to our servers and immediately forwarded to Google's Gemini AI service for analysis.
Your video is permanently deleted from our servers within seconds of the analysis completing. We do not store, retain, or review your video clips.
Usage data
Basic analytics such as which features you use, crash reports, and error logs. These do not contain personally identifiable information.
2. How we use your information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.
3. Data storage and security
Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS infrastructure in the United States). We use row-level security policies so that only your account can access your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS.

5. Data retention
- Training data and profile: retained until you delete your account
- Video clips: deleted within seconds of analysis completing
- Account: deleted when you request deletion (see Section 7)
6. Children's privacy
Roll AI is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
7. Your rights and account deletion
You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from within the app:
This removes your profile, all training logs, journal entries, video analysis records, and your authentication credentials. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
You may also contact us to request data export or deletion.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
